Kennel Extension Kit for 700 Giant 48-inch SKY Kennels, Vari Kennels and Petmate Brands
The 700PLUS™ Kennel Extension Kit is MADE in the USA. This kit will modify your existing size 700 kennel and add about 5 inches to the height without compromising the kennel's integrity. The 700Plus kit will fit the 48-inch Sky Kennel, Vari Kennel, Vari Kennel Ultra, Aspen or any Petmate 48-inch size dog travel kennel. This kit will make your existing Giant Plastic dog kennel instantly taller which will increase the inside headroom for your dog by 5 inches.

After Kit installed the kennel's Height will measure 99 CM high = 39-40" H
CAGE IS NOT INCLUDED - DO NOT PURCHASE UNTIL YOU HAVE A 700 GIANT KENNEL AND HAVE MEASURED YOUR DOG. THIS KIT WILL NOT EXPAND LENGTH OR WIDTH ONLY HEIGHT or Head room.

If your dog is traveling internationally the airline NOW requires for the safety of your dog a full 2-3" of extra head room above your dog's head or tip of ears (in pointy eared dogs). If you have an existing 700 size kennel that your dog is acclimated to and fits your dog but lacks the extra head room required, the 700Plus Kennel expansion kits are the perfect accessory. The kit easily modifies your 700 Giant dog kennels to be airline compliant. Simply add the rails in-between the top and bottom and install the door filler rails.
The kit is 100% hand installed, no tools needed or required. (unless you determine the extra door hardware will be needed, then 4 holes will need to be drilled with drill bit provided in kit, Electric Screwdriver drill is also available at a small additional cost) Simply Connect the corner rails to straight rails to create a horseshoe shape then set the rails in between the top and bottom of the kennel. Then install the door filler rail pieces and install your existing door, then thread the provided 6" bolts through the existing kennel bolt holes and secure with the reinforced Metal Thumb Nuts (all provided in the kit). That is it... as easy as putting together the original kennel and your kennel is now taller and will now provide the extra head room required by your airline.
ALL Vents and slots are redesigned to follow IATA 2024 new requirements (1x1 inch or smaller for international flights)

agree it is a bit harder to install more steps but so light weight and so strong way smaller so easy to store after we used ready for next time needed. Airlines didn't even blink made it the perfect height for my tall dog.

good stuff
Been using the extenders for my dogs to travel for their jobs. The new version is lighter and way more durable than the old rails. The old ones dented or had tendency to bend. The new plastic ones are indestructible although a bit harder to assemble.

worked and added just enough head room for my dog to be allowed to fly. Had no idea this was a thing airline refused us and recommended we look into extending the kennel height? without this we would have no other options for relocating our entire family

RETURN Policy
You may return MOST new, UNOPENED items within 30 days of delivery for a refund of the purchase price minus our actual shipping costs. (See Exceptions below)

Our HARNESSES and KENNEL EXTENSION KITS are not eligible for returns. These items are eligible for size exchange ONLY.
*HARNESS EXCEPTION: Harnesses are not returnable for refund if the item is soiled and/or has been opened or worn by your pet. If item has been used or tried on it can only be returned for exchange in size or replacement if the item is damaged or defective. We do not accept returns for refund if you are unable to train your cat to like or accept the Harness.
*KENNEL EXTENSION EXCEPTION: Kennel Extension kits are custom made inhouse and in limited quantity therefore they ARE NOT RETURNABLE FOR REFUND.
EXHANGE info
HARNESS SIZE EXCHANGE: For a Harness size exchange, you may mail back just the harness (vest) via First Class Mail. It should weigh about 4-5 ounces and will cost about $6.00 postage. For your convenience you may now buy your return label at Paypal by visiting: www.paypal.com/shipnow
You will only need to mail the harness (vest) no tags or leash is required. Include in the package a copy of your order or order no. along with a note indicating the new size needed. Soon as we receive, we mail back the correct size free of charge.
