The 500plus® Kennel Extension Kit is MADE IN USA. The kit will modify your existing kennel and add 3+ inches to the height of your existing kennel without compromising the kennel's integrity. The 500PLus will fit the 40-inch Sky Kennel XL, Vari Kennel XL, Vari Kennel Ultra XL, Sky Kennel Ultra XL, Aspen, Petco's You N me, or any Petmate 500 size dog travel kennel. This kit will make your existing XL Plastic dog kennel instantly taller which will increase the inside headroom for your dog by 3 inches.

FITS XL 500 size (40″L x 27″W x 30″H OUTSIDE Dimensions {Advertised size} ) After Kit installed the kennel's Height will measure 84 CM to 85 CM = 33.00" H
Luftansa Air maximum height is 85cm or 33.50 inches so your kennel will still fit into Luftansa's cargo doors.
If your dog is traveling internationally the airline NOW requires for the safety of your dog a full 2-3" of extra head room above your dog's head or tip of ears (in pointy eared dogs). If you have an existing 500 size kennel that your dog is acclimated to and fits your dog but lacks the extra head room required, the 500Plus Kennel expansion kits are the perfect accessory. They easily modify your 500 XL dog kennel into airline compliant. Simply add the 5 rails in between the top and bottom and install the door spacer.
ALL Vents and slots are redesigned to follow IATA 2024 new requirements (1x1 inch or smaller for international flights)
Some drilling is required.

Kit will add about 5 lbs to existing XL Kennel weight after installing.

My wife and I live in Guam. We needed the extender shipped fairly expediently. A representative called me and advised me of a better shipping option and we received the product in less than a week. In Guam, we expect 2-3 wks for an item to arrive, but less than a wk; that was a real miracle. I highly recommend this company for their customer service and quality products.

RETURN Policy

Our HARNESSES and KENNEL EXTENSION KITS are not eligible for returns. These items are eligible for size exchange ONLY.
*HARNESS EXCEPTION: Harnesses are not returnable for refund if the item is soiled and/or has been opened or worn by your pet. If item has been used or tried on it can only be returned for exchange in size or replacement if the item is damaged or defective. We do not accept returns for refund if you are unable to train your cat to like or accept the Harness.
*KENNEL EXTENSION EXCEPTION: Kennel Extension kits are custom made inhouse and in limited quantity therefore they ARE NOT RETURNABLE FOR REFUND.
EXHANGE info
HARNESS SIZE EXCHANGE: For a Harness size exchange, you may mail back just the harness (vest) via First Class Mail. It should weigh about 4-5 ounces and will cost about $6.00 postage. For your convenience you may now buy your return label at Paypal by visiting: www.paypal.com/shipnow
You will only need to mail the harness (vest) no tags or leash is required. Include in the package a copy of your order or order no. along with a note indicating the new size needed. Soon as we receive, we mail back the correct size free of charge.
